Páraic Ó Ceannabháin wrote the first of these three tunes and taught it to me a few years ago. It is one of those great newly composed tunes that is timeless and it’s great fun to play on the whistle. Paddy Kelly’s jig is one that I learnt from the whistle playing of Páraic’s late brother Tomás. Tailor I Am is another jig got from Páraic and he associates it with the playing of Paddy Cronin
