Before I learnt to play music I used to do set dancing in primary school. The Connemara set is a local 4 figure set dance and I have played music to it countless times since. Unfortunately it is less common than before to have set-dancing, music and sean nós singing all in the one place.. When I recorded these reels I was missing the 4 couples to dance it out, so I closed my eyes and imagined them there beside me.

Absolutely sensational - love the generally low-end tones and planxty-esque set up, but most of all the incredible energy of it! Wish more instrumental trad was like this, love the fact that it's recorded live too. Prangman
